There are three ways to become involved in DIVA's Media Arts Program.
Volunteer Assistant. Any screening or public performance requires volunteers in helping promote, set-up, stage, and take down an event. There are often ticket and snack bar sales to be covered and on occasion reception services to host. As a Volunteer Assistant you will work with others interested in the media arts, get to meet visiting artists, and attend free the events with which you assist. You can earn hours towards an annual membership in DIVA.
Media Arts Committee (MAC). The Media Arts Committee, often called the MAC by members, is a group of individuals who are interested in developing programming, fund raising, and assisting DIVA's Program Director in bringing to Eugene the best filmmakers and media artists. Most MAC members have first served as Volunteer Assistants and then moved on to become committee members.
Participating Artist. DIVA provides a unique venue for media artists who live within the region or who are traveling along the West Coast and seeking a screening room or performance space for their work. Many local artists join DIVA and participate in program development and support.
